The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced pitch and pursuits professional to play a key role in strengthening our APAC pitch capability.
This is a 12-month contract position and can be based in our Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hong Kong or Singapore office.
This role will lead the development of high‑quality, reusable pitch infrastructure, support consistent Digital and GenAI storytelling, and help drive faster, more effective pitch delivery across the region. Working closely with partners and BD teams—particularly across Asia—you’ll bring strong judgement, exceptional writing skills and a practical, solutions‑focused mindset to help us deliver compelling, client‑focused proposals.
What you’ll do
Build APAC Pitch Infrastructure
Lead the development of reusable pitch materials across the region, with a strong focus on Asia deal types. Create adaptable templates, deal‑type frameworks and structured credentials, ensuring they are practical, easy to use and consistently adopted by pitch teams.
Develop Digital & GenAI Standard Content
Maintain high‑quality, up‑to‑date Digital and GenAI pitch content for use in RFPs, capability pitches and transactional matters. Support consistent messaging around AI‑enabled legal delivery, innovation and efficiency, and ensure all content is accurate, reusable and GenAI‑ready.
Enable Efficient, Consistent APAC Pitch Delivery
Improve pitch speed, quality and consistency by driving reuse of standard materials and defining clear quality benchmarks. Collaborate closely with Asia BD teams and support the delivery of high‑priority Asia pitches, including scoping, narrative development and managing stakeholder inputs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Coaching
Build strong relationships with partners and BD managers across Asia. Coach contributors on effective input, proportionality and pitch best practice, and support adoption of agreed APAC processes and standards.
Pitch Delivery & Interim Support
Provide delivery backfill as needed by leading selected Australian panel pitches and strategic pursuits, ensuring continuity during the interim phase.
What you’ll bring
Degree qualified, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
5+ years’ experience in pitching, proposals, pursuits or complex business development within professional services (legal preferred).
Proven experience delivering panel pitches and high‑stakes proposals.
Experience developing, refining or rationalising pitch content, templates or infrastructure (highly desirable).
Strong pitch judgement—able to balance bespoke tailoring with efficient reuse.
Confident operating in fast‑paced, short‑turnaround environments.
Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to craft clear, persuasive, client‑focused narratives.
Commercially astute, pragmatic and solutions‑oriented.
Able to influence and engage senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
Collaborative, calm under pressure and comfortable navigating competing demands.
Interested in innovation, digital tools and AI‑enabled ways of working, with a practical rather than theoretical approach.
