Cash Application Specialist II

About the role:  
Fragomen is looking for a Cash Applications Specialist to assist in maintaining accurate client Accounts Receivable balances. This role will play an integral part in our full-cycle billing, credit, and collections team. With a heavy focus on applying cash. This is an exciting, fast-paced, and global team.

How will you make a difference as a Cash Applications Specialist at Fragomen? 

•    Application of high-volume ACH & Wire payments daily
•    Process credit card transactions and post credit card settlements daily
•    Uploading and reconciliation of check payments received via the lockbox
•    Create and apply billing adjustments from multiple, in-house proprietary systems
•    Assists collections department with questions and concerns regarding incoming payments
•    Communicates with collections/billing teams and clients to ensure all payments are being applied correctly.
•    Daily reporting of incoming payments and unapplied cash
•    Reconcile monthly cash receipts postings

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:

•    BS or BA Degree required, preferably in a business discipline
•    3-5 years of Cash Applications related experience in a high volume global environment
•    General understanding of Accounts Receivable – billing and collections process.
•    Knowledge of Elite 3E software a plus.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to compose correspondence and convey necessary information regarding client payment issues clearly and professionally.
•    Outstanding organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
•    Strong commitment to customer service. Interpersonal skills to deal with a wide variety of internal customers.
•    Able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
•    High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
 

Compensation:

The salary range for this role takes into account many factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors noted.

A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is:

$70,000.00 – $80,000.00
